One of the biggest problems facing video surveillance today is the sheer quantity of footage being obtained. Who has time to review all of it?
The iRecorder makes it simple.
It provides a database of static images: which you can search by camera, device, date, time or even data within the image.
Want to see all $1000 sales on a particular day? Want to see every instance that a door was opened after midnight? How about every time a particular staff member opened the cash drawer? The iRecorder gives you instant access to the images that really matter.
- Records only what matters;
- Single frames, no lengthy video;
- Saves on storage space;
- Instantaneous image search by time, date, camera, device or image data;
- Straightforward web browser interface;
- PC-compatible.
The iRecorder PC is connected to one or more video cameras (digital or analogue). It can also receive inputs from a dry contact or networked device such as the Gnome. Whenever an event occurs on the network or through the parallel port, the iRecorder captures an image from the appropriate camera, saving it in a database alongside whatever data is available on the event (including date, time, camera and the device being monitored by the camera).
iRecorder extends to fit your needs.
Custom plug-ins are available for the iRecorder such as License Plate Recognition. Do you want to know if a particular vehicle has been on your premises in the past 6 months? Now you can find out instantly.
Since it only records single frames, the iRecorder can store months, even years of data where a standard DVR or VCR would only be able to do a matter of days. You no longer need to worry about excess CD backups or videocassettes stacking up!
iRecorder is as easy as surfing the web.
The iRecorder comes as a self-contained PC software package, with a simple user interface designed to work in your web browser just like a web page.
The iRecorder also comes with Apache web server, PostgreSQL database and PHP as part of its install set. If analogue video cameras are to be used, a Picolo video capture card is also required.
